“You can call me by any title from this flowchart. What might be surprising is that all of these titles are rooted from one single interest: Visual Art. 

I simply see different materials as a way to create different end results based on who my client is. Becoming award-winning in several fields, however, is not so simple. It took years to develop an artful eye and hand skills to articulate concepts at the highest level in each of these fields of knowledge. To have the chance to combine my skills to create a conceptual story for a client — well — that’s like icing on the cake for me. 

I guess you could say I’m a bit of an interest junkie!

You can have all the talent in the world, but if you are never given a chance to show the results, no one will ever see what you’re capable of. This reminds me of that old adage: “If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”. I just picture a whole forest of artists who stand silent…waiting for an opportunity…it is really painful to think of that. I feel like one of the lucky ones. I’ve survived over 30 years as an artist thanks to MANY, MANY individuals who saw my talents and have given me chances to shine. I will NEVER take that for granted…THANK YOU. I pledge, in turn, to always help my fellow artists.

Often, you will see a collection of my skills in one image (for example: I may have designed and built the set, rigged the props, created the florals, and styled the product). I’m never one to stop discovering and pushing further, and I’m always willing to share my capabilities — especially with those who give me the chance to run hard with an idea that challenges me.”
